| Event Details: | The Detroit Sportsmen’s Congress will be conducting Michigan Recreational Instructor certification class (this includes Hunter Education Instructor, Snowmobile, and Marine Safety instructor ratings.) will be held for 3 weeks beginning Tuesday night December 2, 2008 from 7 pm until 10 pm and continuing to December 16, 2008. There is a $5.00 charge of for this class to help pay for the heat, and electricity of the facility.
Also the DSC on January 13, 2009 classes for Certification as a National Rifle Association (N.R.A.) Instructor in Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, Home Firearm Safety, Personal Protection in the Home and Range Safety Officer will begin. These classes will be held every Tuesday night (except for any holiday) and will continue until May 19, 2009. All the NRA classes will start at 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Fees for the N.R.A. classes are $300.00 for DSC members, $400.00 for non DSC members.
The class fees include all classroom materials, ammunition, and targets for all the classes. An additional fee may be added to the personal protection class to pay for a lawyer to explain the laws as to what can and cannot be done with your handgun. |
