Rep. Rendon to Host Sportsman’s Meeting in Roscommon
State Representative Bruce Rendon (R-Lake City) will be hosting a townhall meeting for all sportsmen in Crawford, Kalkaska, Missaukee, Ogema and Roscommon counties. His special guest for the evening will be Rep. Frank Foster (R-Petoskey), chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation.
The evening event will take place from 6-7pm at the Ralph A. MacMullan Conference Center in Roscommon, Michigan. The key topic will be House Bill 5834 which would designate the wolf as a game species in Michigan.
This is a great opportunity to come out and build a relationship with Representative Rendon and Chairman Foster as well as share your thoughts on scientific wolf management as the potential for a game season in the future.
Rep. Rendon also sponsored and helped pass House Bill 4111 which allowed the use of volunteers for DNR sponsored projects around the state, a big win for the conservation community last year.
There will be time to discuss other issues of interest to sportsmen, so don’t be bashful if you are a resident of the area.
