Steve joined the MUCC team in June of 2022. He has more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit and development sectors. Working for major organizations such as the American Cancer Society (ACS), the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and the Alzheimer’s Association, Steve has extensive experience supporting a statewide network of volunteers and developing transformational relationships that will help MUCC conserve, protect and enhance our natural resources and outdoor heritage.
As the Director of Development & Membership, Steve’s primary role will be to support members in developing a more engaging and meaningful MUCC membership.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys hunting for white-tailed deer and turkeys. He likes to fish for all species in Michigan. And is a novice trapper, hoping to effectively manage predators on his family’s property. He and his wife, Amy, live in Livonia with their three kids — Nolan, Steven and Camryn. Steve is active in his children’s school, local sports leagues and has a life-long passion to introduce new people to hunting, fishing and trapping. When he is not hunting or fishing, he plays co-ed softball, hockey and manages real estate.
