    Makhayla,

I have a big bag of wood shavings left over from our conservation club bluebird house/wood duck box building work bee last year that I’ve been saving for a wood duck project like the one coming up later this month. I’ll be in Lansing on Thursday and am wondering if you have an interest? I’d be happy to drop it off at the office. Wood duck boxes benefit from having some “fill” material in the bottom of the box, which is augmented by the woodies/mergansers when they begin nesting. Please advise! Thanks.
