Join MUCC’s On the Ground (OTG) program at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek as we improve wildlife habitat by removing trash from the Spring Lakes area of campus. This wetland area attracts waterfowl, songbirds, aquatic mammals, and outdoors recreationists alike! The event is open to the public and is a great opportunity to enhance fish and wildlife habitat while spending time on a beautiful part of campus. Free lunch and a volunteer gift will be provided to all registered volunteers.
Volunteers are needed on Friday, September 2 from 10am-1pm. Please meet at 10am outside of the Roll Building on campus (coordinates: 42.336486, -85.176939). Google Maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/8nta6rouHmYhbA9t5
Please contact MUCC Habitat Volunteer Coordinator Kristina Kennedy at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about the OTG program.
