Join MUCC and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources on Saturday, September 17 as we repair an access bridge within the Gratiot-Saginaw State Game Area.

Volunteers are needed from 10am-2pm to help remove and replace some of the siding and deck of the access bridge. We will also be clearing woody vegetation and invasive species along the trail to improve access to this unit of the state game area.

Volunteers will meet on Saturday morning near the corner of Meridian/E Co Line Rd and Brant Rd in Galloway, MI.

MUCC will provide lunch around 12pm. Please note that this project may conclude after lunch depending on the amount of work available.

All necessary equipment will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to bring additional tools such as sawzalls, crowbars or power drills to assist with bridge repair. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle and camp chair to use during lunch.

This event will be open to the first 12 volunteers to register. Registration will close on Thursday, September 15 at 5pm.
